What is Nura Dev?

A Claude Code plugin that bridges your terminal session to your phone. You install the plugin, pair your phone once, and use voice or text to control Claude Code from anywhere.

What does it cost?

$9/month or $99/year, cancel anytime. There's no free tier — Nura Dev costs real money to run (voice processing, relay infrastructure), and we'd rather price it fairly than gate features.

Which devices does it work on?

iOS 18+ on the phone side; Claude Code v2.1.81+ on any platform on the terminal side. Android isn't supported yet.

Why does the launch command have --dangerously-load-development-channels?

Channels are in research preview and Anthropic curates the allowlist. Until Nura Dev is added, every customer needs that flag. Once we're approved, it goes away.

Is my voice data stored?

Voice flows through the Nura Dev relay to be processed and isn't kept after the session ends. Your code, files, and Claude Code conversations never leave your laptop — the plugin only sends activity summaries (e.g. "Read main.ts") to your phone.

Do I need a paid Claude Code subscription?

Yes — Nura Dev is a companion. You'll need Claude Code from Anthropic (any tier).
